The short, honest version
Privacy
In one sentence: we collect your name, email and anything you type into a form, we use it only to fill your order and reply to you, we don't sell it to anyone, and we delete it when we no longer need it.
What we collect
- Your name and email address, so we can confirm your order and write back.
- Your phone number, only if you choose to give it, to sort out a pickup time.
- Whatever you write in the message or notes box.
- Your order details — what you asked for, the price, and when you collected it.
We do not collect card numbers, banking details or addresses. We have no login accounts. Payment happens outside this website, by Interac e-Transfer or cash.
What we do with it
- Reply to you and confirm your order.
- Arrange a pickup time and place.
- Keep a simple record of the sale, which a small business is required to do.
We will not add you to a mailing list, send you marketing, or share your details with anyone else — unless you ask us to, in writing.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years, because Canadian tax rules require business records to be retained that long. Contact-form messages that don't turn into orders are deleted within 12 months.
Who else touches your information
Almost nobody. There is no third-party form service — when you send a form it is handled by this website's own software and sent straight to our inbox. Our website and our email are both hosted by Web Hosting Canada, on servers located in Canada, and they are the only company that handles your message on its way to us.
We don't use advertising trackers, we run no analytics, and this site sets no cookies of its own.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see your IP address when a page loads, as they would for any site using those fonts.
Children
This shop is made by a young person, but it is operated by a parent and is intended for adult customers. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you're under 18, please have a parent or guardian place the order.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to and we'll do it within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If this note changes we'll update the date below. Last updated: 7 September 2026.
A note for the shop owner: confirm the retention periods above match how you actually work. This is a plain-language starting point, not legal advice — if the shop grows, have it reviewed. Update the date whenever this page changes.
